obviously bullshit. Don't be an idiot in public.

I am not sure about the "fly them in from all over the world" bit, but FEMA
has been spending money on illegal aliens while still being behind on
getting money to 2023 (and maybe before) hurricane victims.

    es-300-million-direct-funding

    https://tinyurl.com/4yppxtkv

    Release Date:
    April 12, 2024 (HQ-24-049)

"WASHINGTON -- Today, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), through FEMA and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), announced $300 million in grants through the Shelter and Services Program (SSP), which was authorized by Congress to support communities that are providing services to migrants. Two hundred seventy-five million dollars will be distributed in the first allocation, and the remaining $25 million will be allocated later in the year to accommodate evolving operational requirements. The initial funding will be available to 55 grant recipients for temporary shelter and other eligible costs associated with migrants awaiting the outcome of their immigration proceedings. Additionally, DHS is announcing $340.9 million through the Shelter and Services Program-Competitive grant program to be allocated before the end of this fiscal year."

Several news outlets have been fact-checking this as false, which means they are either finding something that was said (usually by Trump) that included a falsehood, or they are ignoring FEMA's own website.

FEMA is an agency under DHS, as is the CBP. That might be how they say it is "false" by claiming the "money comes from DHS" but, since FEMA is a part of DHS, all "FEMA money" comes from DHS.

IMHO, DHS needs to stop sending money "through FEMA" for non-citizens until FEMA is caught up with getting aid to, and not running out of money for, US citizens affected by disasters.

One hundred percent agreement on your last paragraph there. Absolutely outrageous that OUR CITIZENS are secondary to immigrant "needs".

I have to believe that some of the garbage being thrown around about
this is exactly what you were describing in regards to FEMA/CBP/DHS
being used sort of interchangeably when they really shouldn't be. I'm
hoping that "extra" money being spent on (illegal) immigrants is not
coming from the same pot of money as the benefits meant for our
    hurricane victims.

Thanks for the reply and the info!

I've been hearing from family that NC state troopers are having to escort trucks with supplies through FEMA blockades, FEMA is not allowing relief suppies through.

Crazy how this storm was on track to hit North Georgia, I watched it live, I was at work, it cut east right before Atlanta and cut right through to the Lithium mines of NC, the same place that is due to open back up in 2026 and the feds were going to have to take people of their properties for full operation.

Of course the Lithium part is some far out conspiricy theory stuff, but I'm starting to believe more and more conspiricy theory crap on a daily basis, because a lot of it is spot on.

If you can look at the track on this storm, check out what happens before it starts tracking east to NC, in HYTOP ala, (Radar site, Military site) there is what looks like cinammon rolls pop up on the radar image. (big large concentric swirls of pressure) This also happens at the same time down in middle georgia, just a bit south of atlanta, all in the same time-frame.

I've watched many storms on radar, and this is the first time I've seen this crazy crap, especially multiple times.. call me crazy if you will.. I don't care. RF is nothing more than sound, and/or heat vibrating the air around it. Do the rest of the math for your own conclusion..

BTW, I made my tinfoil hat long ago, and it has helped to an extent.. :-)

Governments usually do budget money for separate "pots," even within the
same agencies. That said, if you have a domestic pot that is empty, and another pot in the same agency for immigration and/or foreign governments,
it would be very good policy to have something in place to divert money to
    the empty domestic pot.

Thanks for the reply and the info!

No problem. I found that link a month or so ago when I was reading an
article about New Orleans 2013 hurricane victims. I found some of the
"facts" to be dubious sounding but, as it turned out, there was some truth
to them after all (per FEMA even!).

Yes, there have been plenty of storms that either start in the Gulf, or
just south in the Western Carribean (where Michael formed at about this
