Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I enjoy FSXnet. Have a
great weekend all.

I see this exact same message in FSX_BBS. So maybe it fixed itself.

This could mean that the binkp.net f.n.z host (I believe it is hosted
in Fidonet zone 2) was down. To be honest, I never thought it was a
good idea to rely on this for anything. Making direct links to the
systems you want to connect to is a much better method.

Sometimes it's not Synchronet BBS's fault. You're connecting to other
systems that may have issues as well.
Avon mentioned he was going to be away for a couple weeks, whether it be personal or business, but it's quite possible his system stopped
answering, or his DNS provider was down for 24 hours, or the binkp.net thing was down. There's many reasons, but it probably wasn't your system that was the problem.
It's not always you and/or the system you're running. Sometimes you need
to just be patient and wait for things to clear up on it's own.
Regards,
Nick
... Take my advice, I don't use it anyway.

24 hours ago my synchronet bbs v 3.19b stopped connecting to FSXnet. I have made no changes or updates to SBBS. I have rebooted my PC and still get this message. I am running windows 10 64b. This has all been working great up until 24 hours ago when SBBS stopped making a polling connection with FSXnet. Here is my Poll Log:

It started working again just now. You are correct. It is working
again. I just had to wait. Have a great Sunday. Thank you for
replying.

Looks like the server is down, this happens from time to time.. sure it will be back up, you may be able to quicken that by contacting the person who runs the server.

I have offered to provide backup name servers for fsxnet. I have one
in the UK and two in the US on different networks in Dallas, which may help in future. We're going to set it up when he gets back from his
trip.
if you need further coverage, i can provide powerdns from Amsterdam, Paris and Stockholm.
