Renewal time is approaching for my trend micro antivirus subscription. Any recommendations for best antivirus software?

    Hi Rixter,

Any recommendations for best antivirus software?

I am using eset right now. I was having issues with the built in one and having too many false positives and deleting programs as fast as I could compile them.

I don't operate many Windows computers these days. I have a tendency to install Avira because it is free and does not get too naggy. If a user needs to deal with a suspicious file that contains no sensitive information I recommend them to use Virustotal for a double check anyway.

Hey there! I've been using bitdefender total security for a couple of years and have had few issues with it, it just seems to work & has web browser add ons that help block dodgey websites (you can ovveride it if you want FYI) that has caught a few dodgey sites in the past.

What can I say? It just works & seems to still get get good reviews from the likes of the pc secuirty channel on youtube.

... Been through hell? And what did you bring back for me?
