I took a look at the "How it works" area and this is what I found:

It's a no from me. There are plenty of ways to send a private message without needing a blockchain.

Yes.. there seems to be some heavy background action going on.
I was just curious what a $100/mo system boasting security and
privacy looks like. It seems bloated and sometimes unreliabein
whatever it's doing. I can't believe they have a minimum $100/
mo price on that.

It also sounds like all nodes become part of a transfer system
whether you like it or not.

I think we need to ditch it all and go back to gpg for email privacy.
Ditch social media-based comms. Treat any other third party comms as potentially compromised.

I miss the days when I had mixed cleartext and encrypted email sitting
on an encrypted volume on my home server.
