Yeah, I'm that many years old too. I was surprised to find it came in other flavors when I was a student in Prague in 2000. I used to get the apricot and the watermelon versions, dump the powder into my empty water bottles and have it waiting for me after a nite out with friends at the hospodas. The beer was very good as well.

The only Tango I could find is a fruit-flavored carbonated drink in the
UK. We have Orange/Pinapple/Strawberry Crush here, but the last time I
had one was in high school, playing Dungeons and Dragons.

We have Tang on this side of the Pacific as well, it was the ASTRONAUT'S
DRINK when I was growing up. Those and some horrid breakfast sticks were apparently derived from food used in the Apollo program.

Over here, I don't think it was ever sold with a link to the space program but I could be wrong.
