Just a thought, how about a radio on FSX net. I can host it at my connection, if some one is willing to cooperate, I have a hugh mp3 archive. around 150 TB of mp3's, this is closed group, dont know if its legal to do it, some country have rules about streaming music. So that might be your choise to give permission to this, Avon.

I need to look at my shoutcast config, I think there's a way to
whitelist specific IPs. You could make a members-only FSX radio channel.

It doesn't take more than Winamp, a plugin and a shoutcast server.

I'm on winamp with plugins, ShoutCast Source DSP v2.3.5, I try this out, you'r very welcome to help me out on this one, I use winamp on mp3 scripts at IRC, for a couple years ago.

Its up and running at my network. ist a very echo from computer to my othjer computer in the room.

its working with my public ip 37.123.153.221:8000, but I think we need to get this radio approved by Avon first

Paul already operates a radio - around his town of Dunedin NZ (so not necessarily an fsxnet or bbs station).

I'm running the older Shoutcast server and DSP. It won't connect to the Shoutcast directory, but I had problems with the newer versions stuttering on low-end hardware.

All you really need to do is set the password on both the server config and in the DSP properties. Let me know if you run into issues.

It's working from my house -- very cool!

I got into Shoutcast when I was consulting, I wanted to be able to listen to my music from client offices without having to bring along my MP3s.
