• Hub 3 is on go slow...

    Hey Folks,

I've just discovered that Hub 3 is receiving large packets from somebody - and its processing 1000s of messages each time.

I havent figured out if it is a problem I've introduced, or a rogue RESCAN from somebody is dumping packets back into the network.

I've put Hub 3 on queue mode, which means all packets with more than 5 messages will go onto a queue to process, and I've slowed that queue to 1 per second, so I can see what's going on (and be sure, I'm not throwing packets back into the network).

So if you are crashing, and your packets have only a message or few (< 5), then they should be processed on the fly as normal - otherwise they'll be queue and eventually make it into the network.

The queue has +11,000 messages at the moment :(

I'll let you know when I figure out what's going on...

    Howdy,

The queue has +11,000 messages at the moment :(

I'll let you know when I figure out what's going on...

So I havent looked into where the message came from (cant be bothered really, unless it becomes an issue) - I am please that clrghouz detected them all as duplicates and discarded them. :)

Should be back to normal processing now (although I'll leave the 5 or more to be deferred to the queue in place for a bit).
