    Saw Alexander Payne's (Sideways director) new movie, the Holdovers. Paul Giamatti is as fantastic as ever, but the actor playing the "kid" is just phenomenal. I say kid, because he's a 33 year old actor playing a 17 year old, but it's totally beleivable.

    It's a movie that gets you in the feels, set in 1970 at an elite boarding school during Christmas break, where a few kids have to be babysat by an unlucky and angry/depressed teacher (Giamatti) because their rich
    parents don't really care about them.

    Has that kind of small-drama Oscar vibe. Thumbs up.
